At Christian Health Professionals Network (also known as CHPN), we value the privacy of all our members, especially in an age where Christian values have been publicly decried.<\/p>\n

Any information that you submit to us will only be shared with approved members who have signed up to CHPN for the purposes of getting in touch with other Christian Health Professionals. This may also be accessed by those in pastoral care, such as pastors and chaplains. It will NOT be made available to the general public, or to church members unless they in an official capacity as pastoral carer.<\/p>\n

From time to time we may contact you with information about the website or events specifically related to CHPN.<\/span><\/p>\n

CHPN does not have an annual turnover exceeding $3M (or anything near that!). Therefore it is not subject to the privacy principles legislated in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). However, for those who list their names on our directory we give you the following undertakings:<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Personal Information:<\/strong> we will keep requests for personal information to a minimum. We do not ask for your middle name, home address, date of birth, nor your tax file number. We do ask for your AHPRA registration number, which is already on the public register.

  2. Use:<\/strong> we will only use the personal information for the purposes of CHPN.

    <\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Storage:<\/strong> we will store the above information with a cloud based company with appropriate safeguards.

    <\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Payments:<\/strong> we will use a transactions intermediary for the processing of your payments with appropriate safeguards.

    <\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Retention of Information:<\/strong> we will not sell or give your personal information to another organisation without your prior consent (except for the cloud storage provider). Before we cease to operate, we will delete all personal information except that required to be kept by law.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    This is a policy adopted by the CHPN Board.<\/span><\/p>\n
